Taking a college of Petroleum Science and technology support program for the study sample, the university scientific research performance evaluation system was established by using AHP. Based on expert experience and background knowledge the indexes were set with the AHP model, the weights were obtained. Combined with the actual research projects the degree of analysis and calculation was completed, the mathematical conclusion was obtained and the purpose of performance appraisal was achieved. The management decision was provided as the basis for further research of university.

The budget expenditure performance appraisal system of the colleges is important to carry out the controlling the college resources and improves the management of budget.In most of the models of the budget expenditure performance appraisal system of the colleges，analytic hierarchy process(AHP) always was used to establish the evaluation indicators and analysis the weight.But in the budget expenditure performance evaluation in colleges，in order to evaluate the actual status of the various indicators，it needed to carry on comparative analysis to the index standard and the actual value.By using the efficacy function，efficacy coefficient method could reasonably achieve the translation between the index standard and the actual value，and through the analysis score, the budget expenditure performance situation could be understood.

aking a steel corporation in 2013 cost data as the study sample, principal component analysis method was used to analyze the link between the operating costs in the steel production process, and 4 main components were identified, and regression model was established to do the empirical test using software SPSS19. 0. The results show that principal component analysis method could intrinsically reveal the relationship among the factors of production cost in iron and steel industry.
